The oriental dance
is one of the oldest and most feminine dances in the world.
The West often associates with him only a romantic, exotic dream of 1001 Nights.
What he undoubtedly is too.
But the "Raks Sharki" (translated: Dance of the East) has a great cultural tradition in its countries of origin. More and more women around the world are discovering the fascination
the diversity and, above all, the joy of movement, which are united in this dance.
"The Belly Dance" is more than a dance with a belly. The dance technique is demanding.
But even if you do not want to become a professional dancer, you will find an alternative fitness training here. The oriental dance promotes the condition and coordination, trains, the body feeling, relieves tension, strengthens the deep muscles and is above all a lot of fun.
Tribal style
Typical of this are the impressive costumes and graceful, elegant, spirited and proud movements that come from Flamenco, North African folklore, Oriental dance and Indian Kathak.
In this fascinating dance format, which is enjoying ever greater popularity, is danced as a group in a so-called "Tribe" (dt tribe) improvised. The dancers communicate with each other nonverbally through the use of small signals, the "cues", which are a clearly structured set of rules and which are inseparably linked to individual movements.
The cues make it possible for all tribal dancers worldwide to communicate non-verbally in dance, improvising and dancing freely with each other. For example, a cue can represent a hand gesture, a head rotation, or a change in dance orientation.
In the class, we will work out the tribal style movement repertoire and the accompanying cues as well as learn the different dance formations and dance in them.
Tribal fusion
is a modern contemporary form of traditional belly dancing. As a further development of the American Tribal Style® was born in the late 90s in San Francisco Tribal Fusion Bellydance. Bellydance superstars touring throughout the world from 2004 have made this innovative form of belly dancing popular in Europe as well.
Representatives include Rachel Brice, Jill Parker, Katharina Burda, Jamila Salimpour, Zoe Jakes, Mira Betz, Kami Liddle, Ashley Lopez and many more.
Tribal Fusion Bellydance is very diverse and constantly evolves as different dance styles are fused together. Originally, the name referred to the fusion of bellydance and American Tribal Style. Meanwhile, the "fusion" extends to all sorts of other dance styles - especially urban dance styles such as Hip Hop, Popping, Locking, Jazz, Modern, Indian, and many more. There are no limits to creativity.
This innovative fusion has created a young, dynamic dance style that offers an endless range of creative possibilities.
Every dancer incorporates her own style in the dance, which makes the lessons and the way of the movement highly individual.
Creative dance for kids teens
The diversity of movement in Oriental dance is ideal for early dance education. The rhythmic feeling is developed playfully, the body feeling and mobility are promoted and the muscles are strengthened.
In the lessons of the youngest, the fun in the movement is in the foreground and in the group dynamics, the social competence is expanded female students. The magical world of 1001 Nights especially pleases the little "princesses" who like to wear glittering costumes.
For the ambitious dancers there is the possibility to participate in competitions and championships.
What do I need if I want to dance oriental?
You do not need much. Comfortable workout clothes. The top should be snug so that the teacher can see the body movements, and so on. can correct. The hip is emphasized with a cloth.

MercifulAfter her training and exam to become an ADTV dance instructor, I have been teaching ballroom dancing for over 25 years. My way to oriental dance was not planned. However, when I did my first moves in 2004 in Enussah's wonderful studio "Scarabeo-Palace" in Nuremberg, the course was set quickly. Originally, I wanted to do belly dancing just for myself, but fortunately, everything turned out quite differently and I completed my training as a teacher of oriental dance in Enussah's "Step On" training project. Of course, I continue to visit Enussah's excellent lessons and train in workshops with well-known lecturers.
